Embrace The Different

Embrace The Different

Feel like changing things up from the norm for your wedding? Check out these unique wedding ideas that help you to embrace the things that make you, you!

Tattoos
Brides and grooms often try to cover up their ink when getting hitched but if you love your tatt’s why not highlight them and incorporate them into your wedding look? Add diamantes where they’ll add a sparkle and compliment our dress and accessories or go for short sleeves or cropped trousers to let your tattoos be seen.

Paint the rainbow
If you want to give a nod to the popular rainbow coloured theme, why not paint your nails the colours of the rainbow to add a touch of pride to your day. Alternatively, add a rainbow pocket square to your jacket pocket for a discreet pop of colour.

The first chapter
If you and your other half met online, why not include the first chapter of your story into your day by printing off some of your messages and using them in your flower arrangements and have them sculpted into the shape of your favourite flowers. This is a unique way to include those first ‘butterflies in your tummy’ days into your day and embrace the next part of your story. Also, using paper means you have a keepsake for life.

Get artsy
Informal weddings are perfect for the more creative couple. Think outdoor country style wedding, paper table cloths and pens and markers galore! Use the centre of the table cloth as a creative space for your guests to jot down their favourite memory of you as a couple and decorate as they see fit. This is a great way to change things up while you have a keepsake for life from your nearest and dearest.

Music makers
One of the most enjoyable parts of any wedding is when the music starts and it’s time to hit the dance floor. No doubt you will have chosen a playlist with the perfect party tunes, but let the guests help you out. Leave a space on your R.S.V.P for guests to write their favourite party song and add it to your playlist to make someone’s night.

Picture this
Add a touch of humour to your day and use a throwback photo of yourselves or members of your bridal party in your centre pieces or instead of table numbers. Instruct guests to find their table with the picture of “grooms  prom” or "brides debs" and give your guests a giggle with your questionable fashion choices back in the day.
